Curtis Blake and Greasy Gravy
Mar 3rd
Found a great video of a under recognized Minnesota blues band that features none other than harmonica master Curtis Blake with his band Greasy Gravy. Definitely worth checking out. Good to see these guys gigging around town again.
The band features Jerry Maynard on Guitar, Greg Schuck on Drums, John Heck on Bass and Harmonica Curtis Blake.

The Return of Greasy Gravy

A rare appearance by thee original and… tasty… Greasy Gravy Blues Band with Harmonica Curtis Blake. No cover at Costello’s (Western and Dale) St. Paul. This is a special showing of the blues today, a one time, one time only early performance.

The band features Greg Schuck on drums (Lamont Cranston), Jerri Maynard on guitar and vocals, John Heck on Bass and Curtis Blake on harmonica and vocals. This is going to be the “event of the year” (or maybe the month). Look come on down to this cool neighborhood bar there will be party food and drink specials and you can still make the next club!
