Lynwood Slim and Junior Watson go together like peanut butter and jelly in my opinion. Never seen these two together live, but thanks to YouTube and a few bootleg CDs I can listen to these cats anytime I want.

Here is another from the personal collection of West Coast videos. This one features Lynwood Slim, a young Rusty Zinn, Richard Innes and a unknown keyboard player. Rusty Zinn is one of my favorite West Coast blues guitarist and he really plays cool on this song.

Looks like the late RicK O’Dell playing keys (although I never saw him play keys he was an excellent saxophonist), Larry Hayes on guitar, Marty Bryduck on drums and Bill Black on bass.
McCready’s was on 3rd street in downtown Minneapolis not NE. I think the place burned down a while back and it’s now a parking lot.
Lynwood and I used to play the club as a duo. Later they started booking bands and the Butanes played once or twice. After they started having bands it ended up being more of a rock place.
